What is Blended Learning?
Before I could build this report, I needed to clarify in my mind what blended learning is and how it can enhance the learning
atmosphere of any school. My first understanding is that blended learning takes differentiation to a whole new level by using technology to create personal learning programs for students to work with at their own pace. As one teacher put it when describing the six laptops she utilizes during language arts rotations: “It’s like having six extra teachers in the room!" Another thing to understand is that there are two components to this equation: hardware and software, i.e. what electronic device is being used, and what educational program is loaded on or being streamed from the internet to be incorporated into the classroom setting.

"Blended learning combines traditional face-to-face teaching with technology in ways that allow students to accelerate their learning at a pace that is right for them."
